I'm fundraising for the future of hospitality.
I'm raising money for The Burnt Chef Project, an organisation set up to tackle mental health stigma in the hospitality industry. It's something very close to my heart and I would love your support!
Any one that’s worked in hospitality, whether a chef, waiter, kitchen porter, host, runner, manager or even a glass collector, knows how hard an industry it is to work in and there’s little to no support for mental health issues and self care at all.
I want to raise awareness that it doesn’t have to be that way, there’s always someone you can talk to and the old macho rubbish of yesteryear need be left in the past.
If setting this page up and doing this jump can help just one person, then it’ll have been a success. Except, for it to be a REAL success, I’m setting a BIG target!
I know times aren’t great and everyone is struggling with the cost of living, but if you could donate just even a couple of pounds, I, and the folks at The Burnt Chef Project would be eternally grateful!

As an F1 fan who also works in events and most importantly has a whole load of chef friends I always appreciate your tweets. I know the pressures of the job, the unsociable hours, the dedication, and the addiction and the coping mechanisms my friends employ. I've been a happy member of Monday Club in the past before the demons crept in. I also love a good meal in a well run restaurant or pub and want to say thank you to every chef that he cooked for me. Whether it's sausage and chips at a darts night or a Michelin star place I want the people cooking for me to be in the best of health physically and mentally. It's a tough job, Mentally and physically but it has the opportunity to bring such joy to the world.
