Skydive for Mental Health

I'm fundraising for the future of hospitality.

I'm raising money for The Burnt Chef Project, an organisation set up to tackle mental health stigma in the hospitality industry. It's something we don't talk  enough or we don't talk loud enough for people to realise what kind of pressure we face on daily basis. 

I have worked in hospitality industry for 14 years and I have seen some real struggles what people go through and what you can't see during the time they take your food order and kindly upsell you second drink. 

We choose to show up every day to serve,smile and entertain but because of the fast paced environment and high demands all of us naturally can start to face some real mental health issues. We try and not show you those feelings because you didn't come here for that , but I am here to remind you that all of us have faced struggles and some of us harder ones to overcome than others. 

I am choosing to raise the money for this project because it is ok not to be ok.. and also I'm choosing to jump off the plane ( someone might have to give me a little push) but I will do it , especially for all those people who have helped me to overcome those bad moments behind closed doors and for all of those who is brave enough to talk about it.
