Tracey’s Birthday fundraiser for Mental Health

By Tracey Roberts Join Me

I'm fundraising for the future of hospitality.

I'm raising money for The Burnt Chef Project, an organisation set up to tackle mental health stigma in the hospitality industry. It's something very close to my heart and I would love your support!

I am a very proud wife and Mum of 4 sons and a 'Lolly' to 6 grandchildren  who are all the most amazing human beings.
I am also a Nurse and Coach and am constantly taught every day about the importance and value of good human connections and how we all need to feel loved and supported to be well and safe enough to be able to reach out into the world confidently.

2 of our amazing sons work in the Catering Industry and 2 of our equally amazing sons work in sectors where interacting with people is a big part of their day, so the Burnt Chef Project sounded like the right place for us to fundraise - We hope you can join us and follow the story of what we get up to on my blogs!

April 21st Birthday Tattoos

Tuesday 23rd Apr
Hi everyone
Fabulous weekend with some great fundraisers joining me for our first event of Tattoos 💪
Super team who went over and above to get the party started!
Wow! Joe went in for the kill! Darrel, aka ‘Pops’ came in at the last leg and got a tattoo despite being totally needle phobic! Matt pulled a surprise out of the bag 🤔Mark loves his ragdoll cat Freddie and proved it and Louis went all out on the start of a Pokeman collection! Me… I kept it quiet and zen 🙏 James is still to come…. Watch this space!
Tori kept the photos going and cheered us on! 💖
Thanks everyone for being there and for the amazing support and sponsorship, you’ve  really motivated us to do great 😊 thankyou so much!
Next one Skydive May 18th 🪂 keep you posted! Xxx

Getting ready!!

Thursday 21st Mar
Hi everyone

Just wanted to let you know that I am getting organised now for the big birthday fundraising year  ( age disclosure unnecessary!!!).

My inspiration for this fundraising is to support mental health.

2 of our amazing sons work in the Catering Industry and 2 of our equally amazing sons work in sectors where interacting with people is a big part of their day, so the Burnt Chef Project sounded like the right place for us to fundraise - We hope you can join us and follow the story of what we get up to - here's a bit of a plan!

I've set a very high target of £3,000 over the year/into next but you need to aim high don't you?

Talking of heights - we have a team now - me; James; Charlotte and Louis who are set up for a sky dive in Salisbury on the 18th May - see our team page which were just building - none of us have sky dived before - 3 of us are petrified of heights and one - well, seems pretty excited! madness! hopefully we can raise in excess of £200 for this one....

Before that though on 1 day before the actual BIG birthday day! we have a 7 man team who are getting tattoos done - some of us are first timers there as well -  hope we can raise a bit of money there too - team build to follow on our team pages....

May and June see plant and cake sales - will put in details at a later date and then in September we have another team for a full head shave - funnily enough am having trouble getting anyone to join me in that one! there is time!!
Think we may be doing a sponsored hat knit to keep our heads warm afterwards and maybe a Qigong day - just a few ideas to help reach target- anyone welcome to join along the way...

thank you SO much for your support for this amazing project, catch up soon - love Tracey
