We have created this page in memory of a loved one.
In August my family and I will be running Tough Mudder in memory of my step-brother Lee who recently lost his life to suicide.
We wanted to honour and celebrate Lee by raising money for The Burnt Chef Project. Lee was a chef who served in the army for many years so challenging ourselves with such a physical event whilst raising money for a charity which will support and benefit those in the hospitality industry felt like a fitting tribute.
My 11 year old daughter Sofia will be running the 1 mile muddy adventure. Harriet, my wife will be running the 5k race and I’ll be running the 15k Classic.
The Burnt Chef Project is a not-for-profit organisation setup in the UK to challenge mental health stigma and support those who need help with their mental health.
They have provided support to over 5,400 people within hospitality over the last 2 years and have provided free mental health and wellbeing education to over 20,000 hospitality professionals throughout 112 countries.
Their work is invaluable in ensuring that those who might be struggling know that they are not alone and that help is there.
Please help us help them by giving whatever you can. The more people that know about The Burnt Chef Project, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing our page with your friends and family.
