Urban Foodservice Take on Snowdon!

By Urban Foodservice

4 out of 5 hospitality professionals have experienced at least one mental health issue during their career.

The current reality is that a large proportion of the hospitality community has, or will, experience a mental health issue as a direct result of chronic stress, stigma and lack of support. In worst case scenarios this can also lead to loss of life with hospitality having one of the highest rates of suicide against other professions.

We have to change that. The Burnt Chef Project is a globally recognised not-for-profit Social Enterprise and is fully committed to making the hospitality profession healthier and more sustainable by focusing on people's wellbeing first by providing free supporting structures, awareness campaigns supported by market-leading training and education.

The Urban team have partnered with The Burnt Chef Project and will be lacing up their boots and taking on Mount Snowdon to raise £20,000 for a great cause.
