Myself like many others have experienced mental health difficulties during my career. I've lost friends over the years to thier bad mental health and at that time there wasn't much help around.

The burnt chef project is a great charity bringing light at the end of many dark tunnels.

Please show your support to those that serve you all year round in hotels, restaurants and many other forms of hospitality.

The current reality is that a large proportion of the hospitality community has, or will, experience a mental health issue as a direct result of chronic stress, stigma and lack of support.

In worst case scenarios this can also lead to loss of life with hospitality having one of the highest rates of suicide against other professions.

We have to change that. The Burnt Chef Project is a globally recognised not-for-profit Social Enterprise and we are fully committed to making the hospitality profession healthier and more sustainable by focusing on people's wellbeing first by providing free supporting structures, awareness campaigns supported by market-leading training and education.
