Parts Unknown Challenge

Whether you are taking part or donating to someone who is, your fundraising efforts go directly to helping us achieve our goal of reducing mental illness within the global hospitality industry.

To give you an idea of where you fundraising goes:

  • It costs $20/£16 per person for free access to our Burnt Chef Academy online learning resource
  • In the UK it costs £6 per conversation into our 24/7 text based service
  • It costs us over $200 or £158 for each Ambassador we train to support their local community
  • Every college training session we do costs over $100 or £80 in time and free assets

As you can see - a little goes a long way and with 50 college talks completed in 2023 and over 160 ambassadors we can do even more in 2024 with your support!

It's been 10 years since Anthony Bourdain's 'Parts Unknown' aired. ​

To many of us, Bourdain was the one to look up to. His unrelenting love and respect for food, culture and people whilst experiencing his own struggles changed the way many of us saw the service industry and highlighted the effect it could potentially have on us and our colleagues. ​

As we step into 2024, we're marking the 10 year anniversary of Parts Unknown as we challenge you to join us in your activity of choice -walk, run, cycle, hula hoop or anything else to cover the 35,218 miles he travelled.
