I'm climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for the future of hospitality.
I'm raising money for The Burnt Chef Project, an organisation set up to tackle mental health stigma in the hospitality industry.
Why me?
When i was 7 years old, my Dad took his own life. Back then, there wasn't the kind of support available that there is today. So, I've had my entire life shaped by his poor mental health.
A few years ago, I found myself in a similar position to him. The walls closing in, couldn't escape my own head. It was at that moment that I finally got it. I finally realised why he thought that was the only way to make it stop.
Had he not done what he did, had i not seen how it can tear a family apart, I may have done the same thing, and I wouldn't be writing this post today.
Fortunately, I've got a very supportive partner who forced me into the help that I needed.
Today, I want to help others who are in a position that I was in. I want to raise awareness for this amazing organisation who can guide people to get the help they need.

Some reasons why they need your help today:
- It costs The Burnt Chef Project £80 (UK) / $100 (non UK) per person for therapy through their global EAP scheme.
- They have trained over 1600 students in the last 2 years in mental health and stress reduction at a cost of £400/$480 per talk
- £158 ($180) per volunteer they train in peer support to better aid those suffering with mental health issues
